OMACCF Attends WSCIJ 2-in-1 Day Event on Media Accountability and Civic Space
The Olaoye Muibat Adesewa Child Care Foundation (OMACCF) was honored to be invited to the 2-in-1 Day Event organized by the Wole Soyinka Centre for Investigative Journalism (WSCIJ).

The first session, themed “The Collaborative Media Project (C-Media): Lessons on Local Journalism and Collaboration for Accountability,” focused on driving accountability through local voices, grassroots reporting, and collective action.

The discussions emphasized the power of community-based journalism in promoting transparency and strengthening public trust.

The second session, themed “Shrinking Freedoms” under the #CivicSpaceGuard project, was held on Tuesday, 28 October 2025, featuring an engaging conference moderated by:

•Mr. Fisayo Soyombo
•Miss Amaka Okoye
For OMACCF, it was an impactful and enlightening experience, filled with valuable insights into the media and journalism landscape, especially the importance of collaboration, accountability, and civic awareness in nation-building.
